RADIANT BARRIER

Our Radiant Barriers are superior, consisting of high-quality reflective aluminum laminated to both sides of a strong industrial grade fiber liner board. Insul-Quilts Inc. manufactures Radiant Barrier products for residential construction and commercial uses. These Radiant Barrier products have been the industry standard for more than 40 years.

The Radiant Barrier products are California Certified and Registered with the Bureau of Household Goods and Thermal Insulation. The “Radiant Barrier” name can be used only on the most superior quality rated and tested aluminum faced products.

The Radiant Barriers for Residential Application are the following:

RBGB · Radiant Barrier, Gable Barrier

Insul-Quilts RBGB is commonly used as a Radiant barrier between the systems polystyrene foam assembly and attic or other plenum areas such as fireplace chases where drywall or other noncombustible assemblies do not occur.

Our Radiant Barrier is used for new and existing residential construction and provides a low emissivity barrier with significant cost savings on air conditioning while dramatically increases home comfort levels.

RBF-R · Radiant Barrier for Residential Construction

Insul-Quilts RBF-R is made of superior high quality aluminum foil laminated to both sides of industrial grade liner paper. RBF-R is available in widths of 17,” 25.5” which accommodates 16” and 24” on center framing. Available with or without stapling flanges.

When installed properly, radiant barriers are designed to stop 97% of summer heat penetrating through roof structures and can also complement the performance of traditional thermal insulating products in most residential applications.

When installed properly, radiant barriers are designed to stops 97% of summer heat penetrating through roof structures and can also complement the performance of traditional thermal insulating products in most commercial and residential applications.

Radiant barriers are inexpensive and used in underwood roof decks, lay in attic, basement walls, warehouse ceilings, building gables and in metal buildings.
